Brought to you by Meitheal, a cornerstone of life. Derived from the Irish word for "gathering" or "work party," Meitheal is a voluntary, cooperative effort where community members come together to perform labor-intensive tasks.

The benefits of Meitheal are multifaceted;

Mutual Aid: Efficiency, with everyone contributing their skills and effort.

Community Bonding: The gatherings strengthened social ties and fostering a sense of collective responsibility.

Knowledge Exchange: Participants share farming techniques and crafts enhancing communal knowledge.

Meitheal acknowledges we will be gathering on stolen land, the land of Wurundjeri-Woiwurrung peoples of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to the elders past, present and emerging, and extend that to all First Nations and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. Sovereignty was never ceded... Always Was, Always Will Be!

Free entry for First Nations Peoples, please contact to secure spot.
