The Dromana Association past 12 months activity:

Mornington Peninsula Shire’s CEO, Planners and councillors met to discuss a ‘Public Private Partnership’ to develop a multi-stakeholder community park on Boundary Road, Dromana.
We met and presented Mornington Peninsula’s Shire’s team about their ‘Shaping Dromana master planning.
Parks Victoria met with the Dromana Association to consider community input into making the proposed replacement Dromana Pier more like the original landmark.
We contributed to the concept and design of the Dromana Hub
We contributed and are part of the proposed multi-purpose sports pavilion concept and design.
We organised and held several public forums where local community groups got a unique opportunity to share their vision, plans and desires for future collaboration.
We held a councillor candidate forum.
We brought various community groups together and kick-started some shared future goal-setting.

With a NEW council being sworn in and a NEW Shire CEO being sought, the next 12 months are critically important to ensure the community VOICE is heard clearly.

We are inviting people with 1.7hours a month of spare time to join the committee and contribute to the future of Dromana.

All executive positions are made vacant, and we need now to Elect:

o Call for nominations and in the case of more than 1 nomination, we need to
vote.
