Description

Make runway-ready garments that tell a creative story. Drop-In Drag workshops cover the fundamentals of design, construction and finishing for performance fashion, all on a tight budget. Transform old clothes and soft furnishings into the outfit of your dreams and get ready to leave no crumbs on the catwalk! These workshops are LGBTQA+ friendly events - open to all.   

I came to slay  

No holds barred, it’s a race to the finish to get garments constructed and decisions made about accessories and makeup to get the final runway ‘lewk’. Includes information on fastenings, flourishes and finishing touches.  

The Ballarat Library Maker Space will provide basic threads and sewing tools for our machines and overlockers. Please bring your own fabrics, recycled clothes and fastenings.
