Drop-In Life Drawing with Tom Stevens (Pre-registration required)

Bi-Monthly sessions, 2nd & 4th Tuesdays from 6:30 -8:30 PM
$15 per session.

About the Class:

Join us for Life Drawing sessions facilitated by Tom Stevens! Each session will start with a round of 2 and 5 minute poses, followed by three rounds of 20 minute poses. No instruction, but a great opportunity to practice your life drawing/painting skills from poses by a live nude model. Artists provide their own art materials. 

Must have 5 pre-registrations to run the studio. Please pre-register as early as possible to reserve your spot.

Absolutely no photography or video allowed in session.

The studio is located on the second floor at 126 W King Street in Hillsborough, Thomas Stevens Gallery, adjacent to Tacos Los Altos restaurant. The building has no elevator, so participants must be able to navigate stairs to access the studio. 

Suggested Supplies:

• Drawing pad (18 x 24 inches)

• Tracing paper

• Drawing pencils (2B - 6B)

• Soft vine charcoal, or charcoal pencils

• Markers

• Kneaded and plastic erasers

• Pencil sharpeners

• Drawing backboard with clip

• Masking tape

• Clip light or book light

About the Facilitator: Tom Stevens

Tom is a full time artist and owner of the Thomas Stevens Gallery in Hillsborough. He works in a variety of mediums over his career, and continues to explore across disciplines.
