Join INFTA-certified Forest Therapy Guide, Cerae Mitchell, for a 3-hour Forest Therapy experience that invites you to engage your senses, drop into relaxation and connect meaningfully with nature.
What is Forest Therapy?
Originating in Japan as Shinrin-yoku or "forest bathing," Forest Therapy is a research-backed practice that supports mental and physical well-being through immersive nature experiences. Studies have shown it can help:
✔ Reduce stress and anxiety
✔ Improve mood and mental clarity
✔ Boost immunity and overall well-being
✔ Enhance focus, creativity, and connection
Important Details
Duration: 3 hours
Weather: Walks proceed in light rain; any changes / cancellations will be communicated by 7:00 am on the day.
Location: Exact meeting details will be emailed 48 hours prior.
Group size: Maximum of 10 participants for an intimate experience.
What to Bring
✔ A water bottle, hat, and sunscreen
✔ Comfortable clothing
✔ A small stool, cushion, or mat if you'd prefer not to sit directly on the ground
✔ Any personal medications, insect repellent, or other essentials
✔ A raincoat or umbrella if the weather looks rainy
✔ An open mind and a sense of curiosity!
