DROP. Presents: An Artful Evening with Benjamino x meadowhip

Following the release of their jazzy, indie pop-soul collab ‘On Repeat’, Wollongong’s finest purveyors of cheek and sarcasm - Benjamino and meadowhip - are joining forces again. Since embarking on their debut East Coast tour in July, Benjamino and meadowhip are rounding off the year with a hometown show for the ages.
For this special gig, they are teaming up with DROP. A space that exists but for one purpose, to inspire the creative minds of musicians, songwriters, and anyone who just needs to make art. To celebrate the success of the year gone by, DROP. would like to invite you to a musical dinner of sorts.
Special guests Dreaming Soda will be gracing the stage and displaying their talents. A looping homage to the middle-child of the younger generations, Dreaming Soda captures and immortalises Zillenial nostalgia in vessel of retro synths, gaming noises, and tongue-in-cheek descriptions of growing up. After the resounding popularity of the syrupy pop releases ‘Caramel’, and the dreamy groove of ‘Jake’, Dreaming Soda are expanding the visual landscape of their storytelling with a Comic Book and EP combo launch.
Opening the night will be KEENS, a singer/songwriter and music producer working at DROP.
In between each set, to keep the music going, Sultans of Spin will be DJ'ing in the vinyl variety, spinning party tunes for the party people.
