Manifest Your Best Life - A Dru Yoga and Sound Bath Experience
Dru Yoga is a combination of Qigong, Tai Chi, and Hatha Yoga. Through using a focused intention, breathwork, and gentle movement- Dru Yoga can be a great technique to manifest or create the life you want.
There may be times in one's life, where stress or a traumatic situation may occur. In these moments, E-motions or Energy in Motion, can get stuck in areas of the body. This energy can also be defined as Prauna or Chi in cultures around the world.
In Dru Yoga we have Energy Block Release Sequences, which are meant to assist in physically creating flexible joints, spine and muscles, and also allows that excess energy to flow out of the body- making space for feelings of Empowerment, and also allowing the Authentic self to arrive in the present moment.
- In Dru Yoga it is beneficial to keep soft joints throughout all movements and postures, allowing Energy to flow both out and into the body.
What to bring:
Blanket and/or cushion for deep relaxation
Optional 1-2 blocks
Please make sure to bring layers of clothing, as the temperature has been fluctuating in the afternoons and evening to become slightly colder.
What to expect in a Dru Class:
- A Moment of Attunement:
Tuning into the feeling of a situation being resolved, or even becoming a different version of ourselves. By beginning with this focused intention beforehand, we can connect to it quicker and deeper during the entire session.
By warming up the entire body, specifically in the shoulder girdle, hips, and entire spine, this allows the body to become more mobile and also can bring up vitality that is available for use during the session.
- Energy Block Release Sequence:
A explained above, there are many different Sequences in Dru Yoga, all of which help in different ways for excess energy to transform or rise up, allowing us to feel freedom, joy, peace, or many other elevated emotions.
-Asana Practice or Postures:
With Dru postures are not often held for long durations. Instead, the technique is to flow in and out of a posture with joints soft, allowing energy to move in a gentle manner.
Some classes also include breathwork or Pranayana, assisting the energy flow and preparing for Deep Relaxation.
- Deep Relaxation:
Instead of resting in Savasana in silence, I guide you through a rejuvenating experience.
