Drylands Artist Talks
Event description
Artist Talks #1
Drylands
Join us for the first in our series of talks for 2025 as we hear from artists in the Drylands exhibition. This talk will take you through the exhibition with insights from Jo Darbyshire, Elizabeth Edmonds, Tania Spencer and Tony Windburg.
Drylands is presented in association with the 2025 Perth Festival. It is an artistic response to increasing salinity across the Wheatbelt, South-West and Great Southern regions of Western Australia. Featured is landscape painting, abstract painting, photography, living artwork, sculpture, and installation. Included are works from the Janet Holmes à Court collection and works for sale from invited artists.
This artist talk is an opportunity to experience the exhibition and hear from the artists first hand. Each of these artists have a direct relationship to the land and through their art they communicate this experience.
