Travel instructions

Tram: Most north-south Yarra Trams run along Swanston Street (routes 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 16, 64, 67 and 72) and stop right out the front of Building 80. The closest train station to most City campus buildings is Melbourne Central Station on the City Loop.

Entry instructions

There are two entries into Building 80, The main entrance is Swanston Street and this is the easiest at present due to construction works on Stewart Street. If you access from Swanston Street, please enter through the doors closest to the Oxford Scholar. You can choose to take a lift to level 1 if you wish to view the event from the front, or you can progress pass the lifts and up a slight ramp to the rear of the event space and view from the back - accessed through (080.02.002U). If you are comfortable with stairs you can proceed through Building 80 (level 2 foyer) following the signs to level 1. If you access from Stewart Street, you are accessing Level 1 and the event room is in past the box office on your right, before the stairs.

After entry instructions

Follow the signs and/or ask someone, and we will have people around to help. The event room has built in theatre seating.

Hazards

there are likely to be university students wandering about and sometimes they can be a little oblivious to other people.

Toilet location

there are accessible toilets on Level 1 and Level 2 in Building 80.
