Event description

The Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition cultivates HDR candidate's academic, presentation, and research communication skills. Presenting in a 3MT competition increases their capacity to effectively explain their research in three minutes, in a language appropriate to a non-specialist audience. 

The College of Design and Social Context heat will be held on Wednesday 7 August 2024. We’re pleased to advise that the competition will be live in 2024. 

Candidates have three minutes, a single slide and their spoken word to engage and convince the judges and audience of the research.
