DST May Tips and Tipples
Event description
Join us for an evening of networking, learning and meaningful discussions on accessibility and inclusion within the tourism and hospitality industry. This month's event features a presentation by Advanced Diploma students from Drysdale, showcasing their work on developing an accessible touring route in the Huon Valley. Discover how these students are making tourism in Southern Tasmania more inclusive and welcoming for visitors with diverse needs, and gain insights into the challenges and successes they encountered along the way.
We will also hear from guest speaker Emily Briffa, who will share some exciting news and updates from Hamlet, a social enterprise dedicated to creating employment opportunities for people with disabilities in the tourism and hospitality sector. This is an opportunity to learn from an industry leader who makes a positive impact across our industry every single day.
