MUD Compassionate Community is a grass-roots community driven initiative whose purpose is to weave compassion, collaboration and connection into the Milton Ulladulla Districts Community as we live, die, grieve and care about each other.

Our goals are:

· To prioritise a human centred approach to care, that fosters emotional connection and reduces isolation and loneliness.

· To improve “death literacy” so that caring, dying, death and grieving are art of everyday conversations.

· To empower, educate, and mobilise compassionate community support networks
