Dub Diplomacy

Peoplemover Soundystem, born and bred in the Inner West, will be having a session in the grand Petersham Townhall kicking off with a party from midday

At Sunset there will be two Soundsystem documentaries (30 min each). The soundtrack will be played through Peoplemover Soundsystem to optimise the experience.

Doco #1 Sonografía is an experimental audiovisual documentary from Mexico by DUB JAM HIGH Collective, that talks about sound system culture and the music as a medium of resistance around the world.

Doco #2 Dubapest Hifi The first original roots & culture sound system in Hungary. Formed in 2014.

We will then switch back to a dance from 8pm to close.
Selectors include Milky Tea, Shane-O (Celtic Roots Hifi), Stevie Dub (Inner West Reggae Disco Machine).

Food will be available. This is a family friendly event. Paid by donation.
