Black Dog Ride's iconic annual 1 Dayer aims to start a national conversation about depression and suicide prevention. Help us get the country talking and join your local 1 Dayer on 17th March 2024.

8 Australians take their lives every single day, that's one Aussie every 3 hours losing their life to the black dog.

On the third Sunday of March, Black Dog Ride is uniting under one banner with one voice on one single day to amplify a national message of hope, awareness and prevention. Let's get the conversation started, register for the Black Dog Ride 1 Dayer 2024 today!

Dubbo 1 Dayer 2024 Details: Online Registrations Only!

Ride Registration:

By registering, you will also receive your rider kit upon check-in on the day at the ride, which includes:

  • 1 Dayer patch
  • Round 1 Dayer 2024 participation bike sticker
  • 'Black Dog Rider' bike sticker

Please Note: Online ticket sales for this event will close at 9.30am AEDT on Sunday 17th March 2024.

Ride Itinerary:

From 7:00am - Check in at Memorial Avenue, Victoria Park, Talbragar St, Dubbo (in front of the pool).

9:30am - Stands up and ride departs

Route - We are heading via Mendooran on to Dunedoo for a short break for fuel, coffee, or just a stretch - 45min or so.

We will then return to Dubbo to the Western Star Hotel for lunch, raffle and 100 Club draws

Raffles (and 100 Club if not sold prior) will be on sale at the ride start and lunch.

We will once again have online ticket sales ONLY, no paper registrations at the start. 

Check in is still required to get your rider pack.

Ride Preparation

It is imperative that riders ensure their bike is registered, roadworthy, and in proper working order, ready for the significant distance ride ahead. It is also imperative that riders and pillion passengers are fit and well enough for the journey. Black Dog Ride does not take responsibility for these matters.

Most rides have a Facebook Group to help you connect with fellow riders. Once you have registered for this ride you can go to your ride's Facebook Group and apply for membership. Here's the link to your ride and state group.
