Duck, Duck....Pinot!
Event description
Waddle this way for a dinner where duck meets its match — Pinot Noir in all its regional glory. We’ll begin with an entrée served alongside a flight of Handpicked Pinot Noir from the Mornington Peninsula, Tasmania and the Yarra Valley — an Australian snapshot in three pours. From there, main course and sides paired with expressions from Burgundy, Austria and Northern Italy, each glass a story of site and soul. To finish, we bring it home with dessert with the current vintage from Elgee Park and a back-vintage pour from our museum stock — a fitting encore.
Guiding us through the evening is Pete Dillion the Chief Winemaker from Handpicked Wines and master of their DMG imported wines, offering insight into the vineyards, vintages and nuances of each Pinot poured. Master of Ceremony is Laurence Tedesco, General Manager of Elgee Park and Baillieu wines, he will recall the vintages of Elgee Park both past and present. It promises to be a night of local flavour, global perspective and good company in all the right measure.
