The Dam has family focused event policy. Guests are encouraged to bring a picnic rug, relax and enjoy whilst respecting all attending. We look forward to a fantastic afternoon and evening full of great music, vibes and dancing.

Return transport is available via ticketing:
- Return Transport – Albany Visitor Centre to The Dam – 3pm departure - $20 per person
- Return Transport – Denmark Visitor Centre to The Dam – 3.45 & 4.15 - $10 per person
EVENT FAQs
What can I bring?
- BYO:
- Picnic blanket, low chairs for concerts or films, sealed water bottle
- Sealed plastic bottled water (still or sparkling) up to 1.5L in size
- Food - there is a selection of food available for purchase from our outdoor bar area
- Our event site is in the rock amphitheatre; this has some sloped and uneven areas. Wear sensible footwear
- Please Note: there are limited sheltered areas - come prepared for rain or shine
- Rug up if you are attending an evening concert, as Denmark gets chilly in the evening
- If the forecast is for rain, please bring suitable shoes, a poncho or a raincoat
What are prohibited items?
- Alcohol (The Dam is a licensed venue, and alcohol is available for purchase)
- Aerosols, sunshades, tents, and tables
- Glass - includes wine glasses, jars, or other containers or items made of glass
- Pets
- Beanbags, blow-up air chairs or lounges
- Eskies
A security check will be at the gate, and we will confiscate prohibited items.
Can I bring the kids?
- Of course! Please note: an adult or legal guardian must accompany all persons under 18
- Playground / Rocks and The Dam property: Your responsibility as the adult accompanying the child is to keep the child safe. Please keep an eye on your precious ones
Can I bring a dog:
- No dogs or animals are permitted on The Dam property during significant music events
What if it rains:
- If it does rain, the show will go ahead unless conditions are deemed dangerous. If the forecast is for even the possibility of rain, bring good quality raincoats and suitable footwear. If an event does not go ahead due to this reason, patrons will receive a full refund from the point of purchase
- The decision to cancel a show will be made as early as possible but may only be made the morning of the show. In inclement weather, patrons should check The Dam's social media sites before departing for the event
Can I smoke?
- Only in the designated Smoking Areas, which are signposted
Can I get a refund or Exchange?
- Unless the event you have purchased a ticket for has been cancelled or rescheduled, or there are legal requirements that provide otherwise (including those of the Australian Consumer Law), tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded
- If an event is rescheduled, you will be offered an equivalent ticket at the rescheduled event. If you cannot attend the rescheduled event or an event is cancelled entirely, you are entitled to a refund of the face value of the tickets and the per-ticket booking fee. However, once an event has occurred, there is generally no right to a refund or Exchange. In the event of cancellation, all refund details will be posted on our website
