Event description

Lower Garden Theatre Company presents 'The Dumb Waiter' by Harold Pinter.

After an incredibly successful run in the imaginations of Scott Johnston and Noah Fowler, the dynamic duo is finally putting the myth to the test. The myth being that it will be a half-decent show.

One would hope that the incredible Nobel Prize-winning playwright Harold Pinter could write such a piece of work that would be nearly impossible to bore an audience with. Wish the boys luck in proving this wrong - oh what a feat that would be!!

This play deals with themes of distrust, discomfort, and temper management - and that's just what the audience is going through. Watch how two individuals battle the complex scenario of finding themselves in a room with just each other whilst they wait for their next instruction. Gee, this could actually be boring...

After his long stint in Hollywood blockbusters after blockbusters, Scott Johnston finally gives us the intimacy that we have all been craving from him. Scott's acting career has been nothing short of few and far between, but don't let that trick you into thinking he doesn't have the experience needed to fully encapsulate the life of Ben in Pinter's, "The Dumb Waiter".

"I didn't even recognise him... what a performer!" ★★★ - Noah Fowler, Co-star

"🙈😩😍" - ★★★★ - Meryl Streep, 3-time Oscar Winner

Noah Fowler is playing Gus. Be kind to him. After having pivotal roles in two recent flops that no one has heard of - 'Heartbreak High' and 'Colin from Accounts' - he is finally finding his feet again. Good luck to you Noah - don't quit your day job!

Come and show your support for Scott, Noah, and Harold Pinter (comment your fav below) in this wickedly thrilling piece of iconic theatre.

Doors open 20 minutes before the show's start time. The play will run for roughly 50 minutes with no intervals (wild right?)

BYO - Friends, distant relatives, and most importantly an over-arching sense of comradery and benefit of the doubt.

Any questions please keep them to yourself.
