Join us for an epic Sunday Session, savour our hand-crafted dumplings made with fresh, local ingredients while enjoying the deep, rhythmic sounds of the Fish & Bread Soundsystem playing reggae & dub along side LoveLace Roots. Further details below.

Fish & Bread is a hand-made reggae sound system, built to celebrate the rich catalogue of reggae based music originating from Jamaica and Europe over the last 50 years. Built in the
tradition of European sound systems, our sound brings a unique vibe and character that can’t be achieved on a regular PA.
We select tunes with a message and a means to connect the dance together, and unite as one family. Expect a musical journey from the mystical to the militant and beyond.

LoveLace Roots from Mangawhai, Aotearoa, developed her love for sound system while living in London and fully immersing herself in the scene. Forming an affinity for Channel One Sound System, she began following the crew. Officially joining the team in 2006 and working solidly with them throughout the UK and Europe.

During this time she took all opportunities to advance her knowledge of reggae music and culture. Learning the intricacies of sound system build and runnings. Growing her collection and selection. Connecting with artists, players and crew. Embracing all the vibes and experiences of the strong and dynamic UK scene.

LoveLace Roots has a passion for roots reggae and steppers. Now back based in Mangawhai Northland where she grew up, representing women in reggae, forwarding the music and culture she loves
