Dungeons & Dungeons: TTRPGs, Kink, and Queer Identity
Description
Existing research shows positive benefits to queer identity development through both involvement in kink/BDSM and playing tabletop role-playing games (TTRPGs), but to date no research has looked at how similar the effects are. Join clinical mental health counseling graduate student (and kinky D&D player!) Molly Walter for a casual and informative presentation on how similar kink and TTRPGs can actually be in helping us figure out who we are. The presentation will be followed by an open discussion around personal experiences.

No experience with kink/BDSM or tabletop roleplaying games required and any engagement in the discussion is up to each individual’s level of comfort and consent.
