Event description

Join us on Saturday 21st June 2025 to finalise planting up the new Dunlop Microforest!

After two fantastic planting bees in April and May, we're back in June to finish off with planting another 500 native trees, shrubs, groundcovers, climbers and grasses. We'll also be spreading mulch and watering the plants. All welcome!

Time: There are two sessions today: 10.15am-11.15am, and 11.30am-12.30pm. Feel free to choose one or stay for both!

What to bring: Please wear enclosed shoes and gardening clothes. If you have any of the following, please bring your gardening gloves, a sturdy hand tool for digging, rake, buckets and wheelbarrow.

Contact: If you have any queries, please email communications@ginninderralandcare.org.au.

Future working bees: While this event will be the final planting session planned, a new Dunlop Microforest carers group is being formed to look after the site ongoing. If you'd like to find out more, please fill out this form with your email address and you'll be sent more info on how to join the new group.

We look forward to seeing you at Canberra's newest micro-forest!
