DUSA Come & Try Sport - Rowing
Event description
Geelong Rowing Association have put together a rowing program just for Deakin students.
Whether you’re new to the sport, or you’re looking to get back involved, Rowing Geelong welcomes and caters to all abilities.
Choose a day that suits you, bring a friend, and come down to try rowing!
On the day, wear shorts and a t-shirt. Also bring a pair of thongs (flip flops) or similar. You must be a competent swimmer to attend this program.
Date: Tue 25th March, Wed 26th March, and Thurs 27th March from 5PM.
Sun 30th March from 9:30AM.
Location: Barwon River, 8 Barwon Terrace, South Geelong VIC 3220.
Boat Sheds next to MOORABOOL STREET BRIDGE.
Cost: FREE
Travel: Catch the Deakin Geelong Shuttle and jump off at Barwon Valley Activity Centre (weekdays) or catch the number 42 bus and jump off at Little Fyans St/Moorabool St (weekdays and weekend).
Things to keep in mind for the event:
- Please wear comfortable appropriate attire for the session that you would like to attend.
- Sessions will be casual and non-competitive.
- All equipment is provided.
- These events are an inclusive, fun and social environment, open to all abilities and accessibility needs

- During this event, your photograph may be taken and used in DUSA publications and website. If you do not wish for your photo to be taken, indicate this to the photographer during the event.
- Tickets are non-refundable / non-transferable.
