Fragmented house meets forest-fed ambience for Act 1 of Closing Night

On closing night drinks will flow, and in keeping with Season 11’s dedication to craft, there’ll be three sets from sonic explorers known for their adventurous precision.

First up, we’ll settle in with a landscape-inspired set of improvised ambient music. Sean La’Brooy and Alex Albrechtmodernise classic jazz while walking their sound through rainforests and along shorelines to absorb the natural frequencies. Corey Kikos is one half of Sleep D, an absolute pillar of the Melbourne/Naarm underground. Lately, Corey’s been going deeper into mutated house, acid scraps and ambient. Together, the trio will collaborate, live, on an unrepeatable stretch of deep sound immersion.
