DUSS 2024 AGM
Event description
We are well into Trimester 2 and it is time for the DUSS Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held to elect a new Executive and committee for the following year, propose any Constitutional changes, review the year gone past and plan for the future!
The details of our AGM are:
Date: Tuesday, 17th September 2024
Time: 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm
Arrive by 4:50 pm for a 5:00 pm start
Venue: LT1A (I2.07)
Please note: Only current Deakin students that are paid club members can nominate for positions.
For those interested in a position on the DUSS committee in 2025, you will need to:
1. Nominate yourself for 2 preferred positions;2. Prepare a short introduction about yourself and why you are nominating yourself.
Here are a few points you could consider for your speech i) Why you are applying for this position?
ii) Why you are a good fit for this position?
iii) How can you contribute to the club in 2025 to make it better?3. Prepare for short Q&A session from the attendees
