Event description

Join us for DUST TO DUST (87 min).  DUST TO DUST, directed by Kosai Sekine, received the 2024 Human/Nature Award, a prize awarded for solution-based environmental storytelling. The film follows Yuima Nakazato, the only currently active haute couture designer in Japan, as he confronts the toll that fast fashion has wrought upon the environment and challenges his team and his industry to respond. This screening will be followed by an Upcycled Fashion Show by the students of Marcela Pinzon's The Fashionable Stylista academy.  Come see our talented young people respond creatively to the issues raised in this beautiful film!
