A fusionist known for intense bass and intricate drumplay, DJ and producer Hagan has built a name for himself by blending the sounds of UK funky and garage with those connected to his Ghanaian heritage, from highlife to gospel.

Dutty was founded upon the sacred joy of bringing community and family together through music and dance, as our ancestors once did. As we gather collectively on unceded stolen land, we are reminded of the power of solidarity throughout ongoing colonisation. We will be donating 50% of our profits to Australia Palestine Advocacy Network (APAN). It’s vital that we all stand in solidarity with oppressed black and brown people who are facing violence world-wide.

Miscellania is not wheelchair accessible. The Miscellania venue room can only be accessed via four flights of stairs. The rooftop bar is a further two flights of stairs up from the main venue room. Smoke machines will be used. There will be no strobe lights.

Dutty would like to acknowledge that this event, and all of the work that we undertake as a crew happens on stolen land. We wish to acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land, the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin nation. We pay respect to their Elders, past, present and emerging. Always was, always will be, Aboriginal Land.
