DV Prevention Month: USYD & DVNSW Film Screening of 'Blaze'
Event description
A Community Film Screening of ‘Blaze’
Domestic Violence Prevention Month
As part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, The University of Sydney and Domestic Violence NSW invite you to a special community film screening of ‘Blaze’ directed by Archibald prize winning artist Del Kathryn Barton, followed by light refreshments.
‘Blaze’ is a feature film that uses Barton’s distinctive style to explore how creativity can be a source of healing for children victim-survivors exposed to violence. The screening will be followed by a recorded conversation with the film’s director – allowing us to unpack some of the advocacy within the film.
