Dwarf Mountain Pines at the Mt Tomah Botanic Garden

The Conservation Society is organising a visit to the Mt Tomah Blue Mountains Botanic Gardens to hear about the work the Gardens are doing to preserve the endangered Dwarf Mountain Pine - Pherosphaera fitzgeraldii. The highlight of the visit will be a tour of the nursery where work is being done on the species in an attempt to ensure survival into the future

Meet at the visitor centre at 10.15 for a 10.30 start. Depending where in the Mountains you are travelling from allow plenty of travel time to be on time. At least 45 minutes from Katoomba.

Bring a picnic lunch to have in the garden or purchase food from the Bell Bird Cafe.
