Dynamic Figure Drawing
 
Building on the fundamentals, explore a creative and dynamic response to the figure in this 6 hour workshop. Students will use and combine a range of materials and approaches.

Michael Herron has been a practicing artist in Sydney for over 35 years and a teacher for the past 30 years. Michael’s qualifications include BA (Visual Arts), City Art Institute, UNSW, and TAFE Certificate of Fine Art.

Materials List

Black Ink and brush plus a small lidded container

2 or 3 sticks of the large willow charcoal

Erasures - kneadable and oblong

2x compressed charcoals

1 x Red Conté pastel

1 x white dry pastel

Graphite pencils 4H-6B

2 bulldog clips

A pencil sharpener and retractable blade

A2 paper

A 12 set of in expensive dry pastels

Morning tea/coffee/milk and biscuits are supplied

(we have a Nespresso coffee pod machine if you would like to bring your own pods)

We use the Humanitix ticketing platform to help us manage our workshops and classes. Humanitix charge a booking fee which we split with you 50/50. Humanitix is a registered charity and 100% of their profits go to social impact projects with a particular focus on closing the education gap.
