Dynamites Coaching Skill Builder

Whether you have coached for years or have never blown a whistle, this evening is for you.

The North Perth Dynamites Coach Skill Builder Workshop brings our coaching community together for a relaxed, supportive night of development. Experienced and newcoaches will take part in state level coaching development to sharpen their craft.

You will also get to meet the people behind our teams. One of the things new coaches tell us they value most is seeing that they are not alone, that there are plenty of others just like them who are learning as they go. This is your chance to meet our coaches, hear how they approach the season and know that support is always there when you need it.

Most of all, this is a chance to come along, get to know the club and see what being part of the Dynamites is like. There is no obligation to sign up for anything. If coaching is something you would like to explore, wonderful, and if you simply want to come and check us out, you are just as welcome. You do not need any experience. High school age and above is welcome, and parents are welcome too.

The event costs a small amount of $5 per person to cover catering.

• State level coaching development for experienced and new coaches

• Skill building for new and developing coaches with deep insight into coaching through gameplay and making changes during a game

• Meeting our club's leadership, coaches and connecting with others who are starting out

• A friendly, no-pressure introduction to coaching with the Dynamites

Meet your presenter, Riley Culnane of Culnane High Performance

Our State-level coach development workshop is led by Riley Culnane, an Advanced Accredited Coach and current Head Coach of the South West Jets U21 program.

Riley brings more than a decade of high-performance netball experience, having progressed through the WA State Team pathway from U12 to U19, represented Australia in the U16 team and U17 squad, captained teams at both State and Australian level, and competed for the Souwest Jets Open team in the WANL. She also coaches within the current U19 Fever Futures pathway.Passionate about developing junior athletes, particularly in the Southwest and regional communities where she began her own netball journey, Riley has extensive coaching experience across School Girls, State Team and specialist school programs within the Netball WA pathway. Off the court, she is a qualified Secondary Health and Physical Education teacher, currently working at a school for students with additional needs.Experienced coaches at the workshop can expect practical, generous insight from someone who lives and breathes athlete development.
