Join Dunedin Young Professionals (DYP) for an exclusive finance series with Forsyth Barr.

The format includes a 5:30pm kick-off, with the session held in the Forsyth Barr boardroom overlooking the Octagon. We’ll begin with 30 minutes of networking (drinks and catering sponsored by Forsyth Barr), followed by a 30–40 minute roundtable presentation and Q&A.

As part of this series, members will meet monthly to connect, learn, and grow — building financial confidence one session at a time.

What is investing? Before digging deeper into the topic, we’ll start with a refresh on key ideas like risk versus return, diversification, and compounding.
How do you understand the fundamentals of risk and figure out your personal risk appetite?
This introductory session will lay the groundwork for key topics we’ll build on in the months ahead.
