hello world, we’re very excited to announce Bored Lord

coming to us from oakland by way of memphis; daria lourd, known as Bored Lord is one of dance music’s current luminaries. with releases through labels such as the bay area’s NO BIAS and octo octa & eris drew’s t4t luv nrg, bored lord has repeatedly proved her gift to make emotive club music that is as much a love letter to iconic sounds of dance music’s past as it is a representation of the communities that make up modern clubbing & a vision of potential futures. while they take inspiration from a wide scope of styles including hardcore, house, hip hop & funk, there is an ever present voice & feminine energy that permeates everything that they do.

on support are local loves @lbanq, @tinywhisknrg & @winona_router_ priming the space for cathartic, euphoric dance, etc.

this will be a limited capacity event in the basement with free entry for mob & trans people. please remember that we live in a predominantly cisgendered world. in this space we are aiming to platform transgender music and give space to the transgender experience.
