Event description

Powered by Young Change Agents, in partnership with Heathfield High School and Seaton High School, the E3 Social Good Dinner is a chance to bring together educators, industry leaders, and impactful entrepreneurs to connect.

We’ve teamed up with Forage Supply Co, Forage Built, Light, and Aurora to create a fine dining experience that showcases South Australian produce and gives young people an opportunity to get excited about working in hospitality. Through our partnership with Seaton High School, students within the Food Futures Program will be involved in a ‘restaurant takeover’ and will support the chefs to deliver a first-class dining experience.

Enjoy a three-course meal paired with local wines whilst listening to our inspiring lineup of social good speakers!

We’re inviting some of the top entrepreneurial educators from around Australia to come together, connect with the entrepreneurial ecosystem, and get inspired to help move entrepreneurial education forward.

We encourage you to join us, start meaningful discussions, be inspired, and commit to an action you can take to support our vision. During the evening you’ll also hear from impact-based entrepreneurs and be taken on a fine dining experience that’s not to be missed!

We'll also be donating $10 from every ticket to support Forage Built and their homeless shelter prototype pods. Forage Built exists to provide a meaningful change to the problem of homelessness through an innovative, sustainable and integrated housing solution.

Andrew Nunn - South Australian Chief Entrepreneur
Andrew is the current Chief Entrepreneur for South Australia and Chairman and Executive Director of JBS&G Australia—one of Australia’s largest privately owned environmental consulting companies. Andrew has decades of experience as an environmental consultant, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. He is the director of several companies focused on property development, private equity investments, and entertainment opportunities. Margaret O'Brien - Young Change Agents CEO & Co-Founder
Margaret O'Brien is the Cofounder and CEO of Young Change Agents. Alongside her team, Margaret has worked to bring social enterprise education to thousands of youth across Australia since 2016. Under her leadership, Young Change Agents has launched Australia's first high school incubator, YINC, trained hundreds of Australian teachers in the delivery of design-thinking based entrepreneurship programs and designed and delivered major programs to a diverse range of students including youth in juvenile justice, indigenous youth, and youth with disabilities.

Margaret is the Youth and Education Lead for the Global Entrepreneurship Congress 2023, the Convenor of Reimagining Grants and an Activator with the women's investment network Coralus (formerly SheEO) where she invests her time and money into helping female entrepreneurs and growing the movement in Australia.

Margaret started Young Change Agents after working in business for 15 years across Australia and the UK and three years working in international development in Colombia where she set up library and literacy programs in partnership with local leaders and foundations. This time working with youth in Colombia was the catalyst for the Young Change Agents as her experience with teenagers showed her that youth could thrive with entrepreneurial learning opportunities.

Margaret will be joined on stage by two young entrepreneurs: Luke Humphreys and April Stevens as they share their businesses and entrepreneurial journeys. Luke Humphreys is the founder of Rusty Recycle Art and April Strevens is the founder of Askew Designs.

Scott Rogasch and Justin Westoff - Co-founders / Directors - Forage Supply Co / Forage Built

Scott Rogasch and Justin Westhoff were born and raised in South Australia’s iconic Barossa Valley. Scott brings a passion for conservation, witnessing firsthand the delicate ecosystems all over the world through years of travel and diving. Along with his successful AFL career at Port Adelaide, Justin is dedicated to preserving the environment for his young growing family. Both have strong links with the Hutt Street Centre for the Homeless and are dedicated to giving back to the community.

Louise Nobes - Founder and CEO - KIK Innovation
Louise is an award-winning social entrepreneur, founder & CEO. She is highly recognized for her ability to provide innovative solutions to complex social problems, including youth unemployment. Louise is the founder of KIK, a social innovation company that has boldly stood by its mission. After 5 years co-designing business solutions with young people the company moved from 'coffee to code', licensing the groundbreaking French founded coding school 42.  "When I first learned of 42, I believed it represented what KIK Innovation strives to achieve but at a global scale. Great minds are everywhere and 42 is 'altruism' brought into reality. Starting my career as a social worker and then as I moved into education, entrepreneurship, and business, I was still searching for solutions that removed some of the greatest barriers to education. 42 is a great solution to unlocking the potential in anyone"
