Eamon Joseph - 'When You Know' Album Launch w/ Aji and Kat Flowers
Event description
Eamon Joseph is excited to launch his second album, When You Know at Junk Bar on February 3rd. Supported by Brisbane favourites Aji and Kat Flowers, this is an evening of music and storytelling not to be missed.Â
About Eamon Joseph:Â
Eamon Joseph writes sunny-sad pop songs, and his second album When You Know (released Jan. 12) is his sunniest, saddest and poppiest effort yet. Recorded at producer Demetry Malahoff’s idyllic Camp Mountain studio, Eamon’s newest material shows a big leap in songcraft, production and instrumentation. The release singles have received airplay on Brisbane’s 4ZZZ FM and earned positive reviews from locales as far-flung as the UK, Indonesia and Brazil. You can stream his singles ‘Looking For The Moon,’ ‘Flowers,’ ‘Everything,’ and ‘Melody’ on all platforms that pay musicians a fair rate, as well as Spotify. WYK, you know.
About Aji:Â
Born out of a love for blog era indie, 70's style songwriting, and experimental production, Aji is the studio project of Brisbane songwriter/producer Tom Briese. 2023 saw the release of Aji's chamber-pop/jazz fusion debut EP 'In Spring'. His recently released new single,'Everyday', marks a shift in sonic direction with a focus on delivering short, hooky pop songs reminiscent of artists like Uffie, Toro y Moi, and Dayglow.
About Kat Flowers:Â
Kat is a folk-pop artist from Brisbane, emerging onto her local scene in 2018. Her gentle vocal lines and melodic guitar work are interwoven with personal stories crafted into touching songs.
With a background in blues and folk, and drawing inspiration from artists such as Missy Higgins, Hozier, and The Milk Carton Kids, there is a heavy emphasis on storytelling through thoughtful lyricism. Kat Flowers is here to bring you the audio equivalent of touching grass. She's packaged up some sad little feelings inside some sweet little folk songs for you to enjoy.
