Early Childhood Education Employers' Day and EXPO

Welcome to our annual Early Childhood Employers Day and EXPO. We are excited to host this event on Monday. 8th of July in the Rehua Building, University of Canterbury. We will have over 100 graduating students/potential employees so please come along and meet them. 

For those of you who are new - this event is split into two parts - the first part is called the panel session. This is where the students get to listen to some of you - talking about expectations of a beginning teacher and to give students a sense of what the sector really looks like from your firsthand and invaluable experience. This session has been very popular with the students as it helps them to be prepared and ready to be a teacher in an early childhood education setting.

The second part of the event is called the interview session. This is where our students get to meet you and your team. From these conversations you will both be able to see if could work together. This session has been very successful in the past with many of our graduating students getting jobs with employers who have been at these events.
