Event description

Early Days is a series of workshops for mothers, fathers, carers and families of young children (0-6) who are on the autism spectrum or who are going through the assessment and diagnostic process.   

It is recommended to attend the "My child and autism" workshop first.

Morning workshops are catered for morning tea.  All day workshops are catered for morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. 

Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements.

This initiative is funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services through the Helping Children with Autism package.   

What this workshop offers:

-  Understand why everyday self-care skills can be difficult for a child with         autism.

-  Learn strategies for teaching skills.

-  Gain tips for specific skill areas ie eating, sleeping, toileting etc.
