In this workshop, Del collaborates with Speech Language Therapist Emma Nahna to unpack the important foundations of early literacy through the lens of the “Science of Reading”.

In this workshop they will cover:

How we learn to read and the powerful influence that ECE kaiako can have on the process
Ways that foundational literacy can naturally and easily be integrated into a play-based curriculum
How to grow your (kaiako) knowledge, understanding and application of the science of reading to set tamariki up for future reading and writing success when the transition to school learning.
