Crafting My Story is a platform and an online marketplace for culturally and linguistically diverse women living in Australia, where these artisans promote and sell their products, connect to their customers, and network with other artisans both in Australia and their home countries. We provide opportunities for training and capacity building for our artisans and provide them with a platform to network and connect with their customers and share their stories. Crafting My Story is more than just an enterprise for making and selling multicultural women’s handmade items; instead, it provides a safe space for these women enabling them to network with each other, showcase their own cultural artefacts through their work, and create a sense of community through their crafting. We deeply value and practice fair trade, show our genuine commitment to environmental sustainability, and enable and empower women and these values are reflected in our products, their designs, and our activities.
