Earth Altar creation & smudge stick weaving workshop

Join Prue from Earth Altering & Bhonyblossom for an afternoon of sisterhood, connecting & creating on Gumbaynggirr Country (Bellingen, NSW).

Prue will lead us through a guided meditation to connect deeply with the elements within and around us, followed by a letting go & calling in ritual before we begin the beautiful collaborative experience of building our Earth Altar together. Within the process everyone has the opportunity to bring their unique creativity to the project. Each group Earth Altar has its own way of evolving and when the end product is finished, the subject reveals itself as an explosion of collaborative love.

Bhony will then guide the circle through a smudge wand creation ceremony. Smudging is an ancient ritual used in many forms of ceremony to purify spaces and bless ones spirit. With wildly foraged herbs we will wrap a wand through prayer and intention. Creating your smudge wand is a mindful practice working with your hands to infuse a unique wand that will amplify your own rituals at home.
