Earth Day @ Earthwalk Ways

Earthwalk Ways is the perfect place to celebrate Earth Day 2024.  Featuring the amazing and welcoming spaces of the Earthwalk Retreat and some wonderful leisurely and immersive events.  See the schedule below  Price is $30 per vehicle and additional if you want to join the for cook out.  15 per adult and 5 per child. 

Come at 11 for a great tour of these spaces and some of the interesting natural history of the place, and a little forest bathing as we go. 

Bring a Picnic Lunch and bring family and friends.  Explore the many varied spaces for picnics and kicking back and socializing with friends.  Enjoy contemplative arts such as creating a zen rock garden or walk the 11 circuit labyrinth. Enjoy photography and bird watching or other contemplative past-times.  

2:00  Join me in a Guided Walk down the Natural Labyrinth of Enchanting Run to the Edge of the River.  See Blue bells and other spring flowers along the way as well as birds and other wildlife. ( Moderate fitness required.  There is no trail. We will meander along the bank of the creek finding a way as we go.) 

For Dinner from 4:30 on,   we will have vegetarian, turkey and beef hot dogs to roast on the fire and a pot of beans, chips and dips.

5:30 pm, join a tour of the Forest Farm that is on the other side of the Creek from us. This is a great venue for community as well.  See the farm animals and learn about memberships for camping and gardening and organic produce.  (A great Fire Circle Venue under the open skies at the Farm.)   

Finish with a  fire circle at 7:30  and stay for more sharing and Medicine Wheel Teachings under an almost full moon. Drums and drummers welcome.  

 Space is limited due to parking limitations.  Tickets will be 30 per vehicle but you can bring others with you for the same price!  

Dinner is 15 dollars per person in advance and 20 at the door if there is enough left over.  You can also bring your own dinner or have your own cook out in one of the other fire circle areas.  

There will be parking attendants at the opening to help you park your vehicle so you can get in and out. You will also get a guided tour so you can learn about the spaces and find your way around. 

If you come later make sure you do not block the drives.  Pull over anywhere you can off the main roads.  

We hope you will come at starting time and stay as long as you can.   You will benefit from a whole day of Forest Therapy!
