Join us on Saturday, April 20th for our Forest Bathing Hike.
Celebrate Earth Day in a uniquely immersive way with our Forest Bathing Event, where every breath is a tribute to nature's magnificence. Join us in the heart of the woods to reconnect with the Earth, fostering a deeper connection to the environment while enjoying a rejuvenating and mindful experience.
Our forest bathing guide Anastasia teaches health and mindfulness classes for the intrepid New Yorker curious about nature. Cultivated over decades of teaching and guiding, her down-to-earth style is infused with dry humor and fun.
What to expect
We will engage in practices that help us connect to the forest through our senses. There are various invitations. You might sit, walk slowly, explore various aspects of nature, see differently, breathe, and share experiences. The result is a joyful connection to the earth and others.
Bring your hiking shoes or sturdy sneakers (you’ll need them), dress warm, pack water and a sandwich, invite some friends, and get ready to enjoy the outdoors. We’ll start the day at Worthwild in Chelsea. After the hike, we'll make a stop at a local eatery for food and drinks before heading back home.
EVENT DETAILS:
- 10:00AM – Meet at Worthwild
- 10:30AM – Depart
- 12:00PM – Arrive at the hike entrance
- 1:00 PM – Snack break on the trail
- 2:00PM – Conclude Forest Bathing and go to local eatery
- 4:00 PM - Depart back to NYC
