Earth Grief Circle
Event description
You are warmly invited to the first Earth Grief Circle — a safe and confidential space for participants to share and honour the grief carried for our struggling world. As we begin to recognise, both emotionally and intellectually, the magnitude of environmental and humanitarian suffering, many of us are feeling deep sorrow for what is being lost.
As Francis Weller writes in The Wild Edge of Sorrow, “listening and honouring stories of grief makes a difference.” Through being witnessed and hearing others, participants can begin to process their sorrow and develop a more compassionate relationship with grief.
Suppressing or avoiding grief can lead to disconnection, numbness, or overwhelm. By learning to welcome and hold our sorrow, we open pathways to gratitude, connection, and renewed engagement with life.
The Earth Grief Circle offers a supportive setting to begin this process together.
