We will be drinking an elixir of ceremonial grade cacao brewed with tonic herbs for health & vitality. There will also be an option to drink a rose-only elixir. Please notify us in advance if you wish to take this option so that we can prepare enough of this one.

About Cacao:

Heart-opening, activating - stimulates the cardiovascular system, increased blood-flow, energy, inspiration & creativity. May stimulate feelings of euphoria, joy, connection & oneness. Can help to release blocked emotions or what is getting in the way of living with an open heart. Cacao is a strong but gentle teacher, and even at this medicinal dose will only open the door for you, and you may choose to step through that door.

About Rose:

Soothing to the nervous system, heart softening, opening to love and joy, releasing grief and stuck emotions, opening to love while keeping good boundaries, protection, stimulates blood-flow & internal energy movement. Opening to possibility, inspiration & enthusiasm for life. The Rose-only elixir will be a subtle medicine.

Things to note - PLEASE READ

Contraindications - when are Cacao & or Rose not suitable to use?

Cacao is generally a fairly mild and friendly medicine, but there are a few cases where it may be too strong for your system.

Anti-depressants: some prescription anti-depressants can be contraindicated by cacao, so please speak with us before attending if you are taking this kind of medication.

Heart conditions: If you have a serious heart condition the increased heart rate and vasilodilating effect of cacao requires caution, so please speak with us before attending if this applies to you.

Pregnant & Breastfeeding: If you are pregnant or breastfeeding please let us know so that we can adjust you to a lower dose.

Rose - Contraindicated in early pregnancy because of blood-moving effects. If you are in early pregnancy or think you might be please let us know and we will arrange a lower dose of Cacao with no Rose for you.

Please be on time - no late arrivals - doors open at 6.45pm & close at 7.15pm - thankyou!

Please bring - a cushion, yoga mat & blanket for your comfort throughout the ceremony

Please bring - an item or flower offering to place on the altar to hold your intentions for the ceremony

Parking - not the easiest place to find parking, but it can be found! Just allow a bit of extra time for this please

About Caitlin Wood:
As an embodied leader of creative freedom - an artist, creative therapist and conscious movement teacher - I love to guide people into a more loving relationship with their body, to inspire gratitude & wonder for all the many expressions of life, and to assist people and communities in developing strong foundations of connectedness, kindness and integrity.
Caitlin is a fully qualified & well experienced Dancing Freedom facilitator, Open Floor teacher and sacred circle space-holder.

About Baran Yildiz:
Baran is a Sydney based multi-instrumentalist from Turkey. His music combines melodies and rhythms of the Middle East and Africa with a modern touch on the hang drum, piano and various percussion instruments. Baran is originally trained in classical piano and jazz drums and he gradually became a world music percussionist and composer. His first album 'Interbeing' was released in September 2019.

We believe that dance, together with music, storytelling and art making are essential human needs and important cultural practices for the health of community and the earth. We know that the earth does not belong to us, but that we belong to the earth.
We host and promote educational and inspirational community events that support the evolution of humanity as guardians of the earth through the stewardship of land, water & culture.

Please do not attend if you have any cold or flu symptoms.

Please wash hands and use hand sanitiser.

Physical distancing & wearing masks is not required but you are very welcome to choose these if you feel to.

Numbers will be kept low, well below 1 person per 4sqm capacity.
