Earthen Comforts: Dinner

On the final weekend of Earthen Comforts: Airing Earth, we invite you to join our annual community dinner. This year, we celebrate not just our past year of programs but an amazing run of five courtyard projects in the M&A x Craft Contemporary Courtyard since 2021. Let’s share a toast to this era of collaborations and look ahead, together, toward our next seasons. 

As with each year’s courtyard closing dinner, this event is ticketed to cover costs and to provide support to M&A’s ongoing exhibitions and public programs. The dinner additionally convenes and celebrates the dedicated community that supports and sustains M&A’s important work.

Earthen Comforts, designed by Liz Gálvez (Office e.g. / The (Im)material Matters Lab), is the 2026 M&A x Craft Contemporary Courtyard Pavilion. The installation stages mass and fiber as shared infrastructures against intensifying heat. Adapting passive cooling strategies from desert contexts, the project modulates shade, air movement, and light to offer visitors an experience of varied microclimates.
