EARTHWOVEN Weaving Workshop
Event description
*** Please note, you must be an attendee of the Grassroots Women's Gathering to register for this workshop. ***
Join me as I guide you through the process of handling and weaving with locally foraged willow to create your own one-of-a-kind woven vessel. Sized to sit comfortably in your hand, these woven vessels are perfect for berry picking, storing collected treasures, or simply bringing handmade beauty into your daily life.
Weaving is an age-old skill - both beautiful and practical. Its slow, rhythmic process is meditative and grounding, offering a chance to connect deeply with the natural materials in your hands. When we gather to weave, we invite in the magick of connection: to the Earth, to ourselves, and to one another. We support and inspire each other as we move through the creative process together.
My hope is that you leave feeling more connected to the natural world, with a renewed sense of gratitude for the materials it offers. And more than that, I hope you find joy not just in your woven vessel, but in the act of creating itself.
All tools and materials will be provided.
Our weaving circle will be limited to 12 participants.
