East Gippsland Musical Extravaganza at the Forge

East Gippsland Music will showcase their five bands, Training Band, East Gippsland Brass, East Gippsland Symphonia, the Gentlemen's choir and East Gippsland Big band to raise monies for uniform hats for its 100 members.

East Gippsland Music began as the Bairnsdale Citizens Band in 1919, entertaining Bairnsdale and its surrounds for over 107 years. It is a community band of volunteer musicians, some of whom have played for the band for over 50 years, with three generations of players involved.

This concert will range from traditional brass band music through to concert and the full sound of the big band era. We hope you can join us and sit back for an entertaining afternoon of music.
