Let's take a moment out of the daily and ordinary - let's come together and celebrate!
You and your family are invited to join the Sophia Waldorf School Community to celebrate an Easter Festival.
Festivals have always played a vital part for humanity. No matter what background or faith we are or have, festivalsprovide nourishment to the individual and bring the community together in meaningful ways. Our Easter Festival will be held on Sunday the 2nd of April from 3 pm - 6 pm in the Country Paradise Parklands in Nerang (in the River Shed).
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT :
- welcome circle - we will share season inspired songs, verses, finger play and we will listen to a short inspirational speech.
- meaningful craft activity - we will decorate together an Easter Tree.
- sharing a meal together
- season inspired story
- story inspired activity for children
- egg hunt in darkness for children (using torches around 5:30 pm)
- farewell circle

WHAT TO BRING : Each family please bring -
- a wholesome meal to share
- a rug to sit on (if possible)
- cuttlery for your family
- naturally dyed hard boiled egg for each child from your family
- small voluntary donation for the community
