  • A minimum upfront payment is required to secure your order. This includes a surcharge, a non-refundable cancellation fee, and a refundable deposit.

Event description

Bring the family together on Easter Sunday for a Grounds high-tea experience set with delicate teacups, tiered stands of delicious sweet & savoury treats, and world-class service in our beautiful venue.

Designed by Executive Chef, Paul McGrath, our high tea menu is ideal for the family to enjoy together, with full details below (dietaries can be catered to, please view our FAQ below for further info).

Seating times:

  • 11am-12:30pm
  • 1pm-2:30pm
  • 3:30pm-5pm

Menu:

Savoury

  • Cured beef sandwich with Russian slaw, cucumber pickles and mustard
  • Cucumber & cream cheese sandwich with fresh garden mint
  • Coronation chicken on brioche toast with watercress
  • Smoked trout and creme fraîche tartlet with salmon caviar
  • Mini chicken leek & mushroom pie with tomato relish

Sweet

  • Mini strawberry tart with vanilla pastry cream
  • Dark chocolate and salted caramel tartlet
  • Chocolate and coconut “bounty bar”
  • Mini raspberry pavlova

Drinks

  • A Glass of Sparkling wine or Freshly Squeezed Juice on Arrival
  • The Grounds French Press Coffee & Tea

Kid's Menu:
  • Ham & Cheese Jaffle (toasted sandwich) (gf on request)
  • Mango Hedgehog with vanilla yoghurt (gf/df on request)
  • Fluffy Buttermilk Pancakes with fresh strawberries and blueberries

Drinks

  • Freshly Squeezed Juice

Please note:

  • Tables of 2 and up only. For groups of 7 or more, please email info@thegrounds.com.au to book
  • Tickets are 60.00 per adult and an additional 15.00 per child
  • Please list all dietary restrictions during the check-out process. For any changes, please email us directly
  • Tables will be strictly reserved for 90 minutes, as per your ticket type

FAQ:

Where will the event take place?
This event will be hosted in The Atrium, located behind The Potting Shed and florist. If you have any issue finding our spaces, please chat with our friendly staff on your arrival.

Is the price per person or per table?
Pricing is listed per person; please select one ticket per guest to create the total number of guests at your table. If you wish to make any amendments to the number of guests ahead of the event, please let us know. For groups of 7 or more, please email us directly to arrange a table - info@thegrounds.com.au.

Can dietary requirements be catered for?
Definitely! Please specify any dietary restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, GF, dairy-free, etc) during the check-out process. We will always endeavour to adapt our menus and will contact you should we have any further questions.

Are children allowed at the event?
Most definitely - please choose the number of kids tickets you require when placing your order.

Do you have wheelchair access?
We certainly do, please notify us of any requirement upon booking and we will ensure your journey with us is comfortable.
