EastProp Awards

Now in its fifth year, the EastProp Awards—established in 2022 by UK Property Forums (UKPF)—have evolved into a distinctive regional awards programme tailored specifically to the East of England real estate market and built environment. The awards are designed not only to celebrate best-in-class projects, but also to provide a platform for organisations to recognise the achievements of their teams and individuals.

A key part of the evening is our partnership with the event’s chosen charity, LandAid. Since the first EastProp Awards evening in 2022, £13,000 has been raised in support of its work. More broadly, UKPF has raised over £65,000 for charity across its awards programmes in Reading, Cambridge and Oxford since 2018.

The judging process is structured to ensure a credible and robust shortlist, giving attendees confidence in the quality of the finalists when they join us for the awards dinner on 24 June. To maintain focus and quality, the number of award categories is deliberately limited to around 10–12, in contrast to larger national events such as Estates Gazette or Property Week, which often feature 20 or more categories. This approach allows delegates ample time to socialise and network with over 200 industry peers attending the event.

Another defining feature of the EastProp Awards is their local focus. By hosting a high-quality awards event within the East of England, delegates are able to attend without the need to travel to London. We are committed to supporting the regional economy by sourcing local suppliers wherever possible, including working closely with the Homerton College catering team.

Sustainability and social value are integral to the event. The venue is located within a five-minute walk of Cambridge Station, offers excellent transport connectivity and ample parking, and helps to minimise travel-related carbon impact. In addition, all awards are produced using recycled bamboo rather than traditional wood, metal or glass, further reducing the event’s environmental footprint.
