Description
Melanie Coulter, our Conservation Manager here at Black Swamp Conservancy, will lead an easy walk through Wintergarden/ St. Johns Preserve. We will learn about how the Conservancy helped the Park District acquire a 20-acre addition to the existing preserve, and how the Park District restored a prairie on the addition. Melanie will talk about why protecting and restoring this parcel was important to people and wildlife in this region. Afterwards we will enjoy some snacks with a Q&A.
Pre-registration is required for all attendees. Limit 20.
