Nutrition with Sammy: Eating the Rainbow

Join Sammy, the nutritionist, in her engaging workshop where kids learn about nutrition in a fun and interactive way.

Sammy takes the kids on a 1.5-hour journey to uncover the inner workings of their digestive system. She demonstrates how our eating habits, thoughts, feelings, and movements impact this system, influencing overall health, relationships, and mood. Kids will also discover a variety of foods and nutrients that support their bodies, with a focus on "eating the rainbow" while maintaining a healthy relationship with all foods.

This workshop is facilitated by the Active and Healthy team in partnership with Nutrition with Sammy.

This workshop is for children aged 5-12. Parents are required to remain on site throughout the duration of the activity.
